My writing practice often looks at include digital culture, the politics of the archive, globalization, cultural hegemony and contemporary art. As a reader, genres that have inspired me also include UX research, design anthropology, autotheory and autoethnography. It is also closely linked to my experience as a workshop designer, facilitator and student researcher. Through these projects I have been able to leverage my writing skills to create positive change in different communities in Montréal.

Creative Film Workshop with Festival International du Film Ethnographique du Québec 2025

Collaboration with Festival International du Film Ethnographique du Québec (FIFEQ) Montreal for the 21st edition, which focused on the duality of the visible and invisible in ethnographic film. I had the opportunity to design and facilitate a creative workshop in collaboration with visual anthropologist Danya Leal, on ethnographic filmmaking at Espace Go, in which participants were invited to analyze and critically examine the role that both the production and post-production phase play in the construction of ethnographic meaning.

Materials created for the workshop are available to view here.
