About

As a recent graduate of Concordia University with a double major in Honours Anthropology and Intermedia, I bring an interdisciplinary perspective grounded in new media arts, contemporary art, and cultural theory, as well as hands-on experience supporting artistic and community-oriented projects.

Initially starting in the social sciences and transitioning into fine arts, one of the central motivations behind my artistic practice has been to make anthropological theory more accessible and intuitive through visual art. The language and conventions of academia are not always accessible to everyone, and do not touch us personally the same way as art does. Through visual arts and my own writing practice, I aim to translate complex theoretical ideas into experiences that are more immediate and engaging. I am ultimately interested in creating opportunities for people to engage meaningfully with contemporary art, regardless of their academic or professional background.
